In March 1999, coordinators, teachers, and students from Europe and Asia met in Bled and Ljubljana for an iEARN Central and Eastern Europe coordinators meeting.

The aim of the meeting was to share experiences from school online projects, discuss the future development and sustainability of iEARN, and strengthen cooperation between participating countries.

Participants also presented their work at the Slovenian educational fair “DSI,” showcasing international internet-based school projects.

The program included visits to Slovenian schools, where teachers discussed further cooperation and new project ideas.

Alongside the official agenda, the meeting also focused on cultural exchange, networking, and simply enjoying time together in an international community.
